Our Chile Legacy

Husband and wife team, Nedra and Nick Valdez, established Chile Products of New Mexico nearly 3 decades ago. Nedra began her career working in the retail grocery side of business for a specialty food distributor and then as a broker for a food service distributor.  Nick owned a service business for over 20 years and had experience of running a successful company.  Together, they discovered that there were not too many high-quality choices for authentic, New Mexico Chile products and ingredients for the general consumer. After extensive research into the world of fine chiles, they found that there was a real need and demand for it. So, Nick and Nedra decided to take the plunge! In 1992, they combined their expertise and Chile Products of New Mexico, Inc. was born.
